Google Search Console Faster Data

Google announced this morning that Performance Reports within Google Search Console is now going to have fresher data. Specifically it is going from a few days of lag, i.e. seeing Monday data as early as Wednesday or Thursday, to less than a day, i.e. seeing Monday data possibly several hours later.

The fresher data is for the web version of the performance report. It is currently not working for the API, nor does it work for the Google Discover reports.

Here is a screen shot from Google showing data as recent at 6 hours ago:

All data is based on the Pacific time zone and Google has documented that clearly as well.

Google also now lets you export data over time. Google wrote "Starting today, this is possible. Simply choose โ€˜datesโ€™ in the table below the graph, select the desired time frame, and explore the data in Search Console or export the chart."

I personally do not see the fresher data in my Search Console account but John Mueller from Google said it can take a few days to fully rollout.

Update 9am: I am now seeing the fresher data!
