Google Search Console Adds Event Markup Report & Sends Notices

Google has recently added to the Google Search Console an event markup report and also recently started sending out notices to those with issues with their event markup to check out the report. Aaron Bradley, the guru on schema, said on Twitter the report was new and I am seeing people say they are getting notifications via Search Console about event markup issues for the first time.

So now in the rich results report Google added support for event markup. This is new, I checked the cached copy of the page from the other day, and the event option was not there.

Arnout Hellemans posted on Twitter this morning that he also got a notification from Google about fixes he needs to make to his event markup. So I am sure the two are related and this is a new alert and report added to Google Search Console.
