Google: We Don't Skip Indexing Content That Is Over-Saturated On The Web

Google Seo Saturation

Someone asked Google's John Mueller if Google might skip crawling and indexing content that Google knows they have enough content around. So if you have a new blog post about title tags and SEO, will Google crawl and index that new post when Google knows they already crawled and indexed thousands of other posts about the topic.

Google's John Mueller said that Google will still probably crawl and index that new post. He said he doubts Google has a mechanism to not index new content because Google already has enough content indexed on that topic. John added "There are a lot of topic areas with a ton of content, but sometimes people still find a new spin."

This is from a set of tweets on Twitter from May. I am going through the archives during the holiday season at this point, to find new topics to cover during the slow time. :)
