Google: We're Done With Big Numbered Penguin Releases & Updates

Google Penguin

Gary Illyes from Google posted on Twitter that Google is now done with numbered Penguin releases. He said "we're not planning more numbered releases for penguin."

Google told us this when they launched the real time Penguin 4.0 release saying "we're not going to comment on future refreshes" about Penguin. So this is not new.

Gary Illyes also confirmed today on Twitter that he would work hard to make sure Google was transparent about future changes with Penguin, like he was with Penguin 4.0. He said "I'd work hard to make sure we're transparent about big substantial changes to penguin."

So don't expect to hear much more from Google on Penguin - but most of you knew that.
