Google announced on Google+ that Google Maps for iOS and Android now support Google Now like features.
If you have upcoming flights, hotel reservations, dining dates, and so forth, you will see the Google Now cards directly in your Google Maps app, if you are signed in when you open it.
Google created a help section on how this works, but truth is, it just works if you are a Gmail user in the U.S.
