Today on the Google home pages worldwide is a Google Logo, aka Google Doodle for the birthday of Nelson Mandela. This is his first birthday since after his death in 2013.

Nelson Mandela was born 96 years ago today and there is really no one here who doesn't know his history. So I won't sum it up here, you can read about it on Wikipedia.
I wouldn't be surprised if Google had an annual Google Doodle for his birthday.
