Spotted via Google Maps Mania, the NY Times released a Google Maps mashup of images from news agencies of the protests taking place in Egypt.

Mibazzar created a Google Maps mashup of videos of the protests in Egypt.

Both Mashups work incredibly well and make tracking the events in Egypt more geographically relevant.

In other Google/Egypt news, Google's head of Middle East is missing in Egypt after tweeting:

Pray for #Egypt. Very worried as it seems that government is planning a war crime tomorrow against people. We are all ready to die #Jan25

And Google and Twitter partnered to bring a way for Egyptians to share their stories on Twitter via @speak2tweet.

Also, you can see user contributed riot videos on YouTube at CitizenTube.

Scary stuff going on there and I hope things calm down soon for the safety of all.
