Google Doodle For Juno Probe Reaching Jupiter

Today on Google.com globally is a special Google logo, aka Doodle, for the Juno probe finally reaching planet Jupiter after traveling for about five years and five-hundred million miles.

The NASA satellite launched on August 5, 2011 from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida and arrived on July 5, 2016. It is technically 4 years and 11 months ago.

Google said "Today's Doodle celebrates this incredible moment of human achievement. Bravo, Juno!"

Google also hosts a page on the expedition of Juno over here.

The Doodle is incredibly geeky by being way pixellated and showing off some of the parts that put it all together. Of course, the Google logo is part of it.
