Google Tests Local Knowledge Panels Without Maps

Google is testing, yet another, Google local knowledge panel user interface. This one is where the local knowledge panel is not even showing the map in the box. Yes, Google is testing not showing a map for local results in the Google search results.

Sergey Alakov, who catches most of these local changes, posted a few screen shots of this on Twitter but here is one:

This does not surprise me because Google is constantly testing stuff with maps in search. In fact, I probably only cover 50% of the tests reported to me. So it is almost impossible to track all the different UI tests in search for local, let alone search in general. We do post many of them here but far from all of them.
