Google Tests Live Blog Progress Bar Divider

Google Live Broadcast

Google seems to be testing a variation of their live blog coverage label. Instead of the red label icon in the search results, Google is showing somewhat of a progress bar of how far through the live event the coverage is through. At least that is what we think Google is doing with this half bolded line.

This was shared on Twitter by @BRodrigalvarez who was able to replicate it a few times. Here is the screen shot:

Google Live Results Progress Line

You can see the progress bar is in the form of a divider and is about 65% the way through. I personally cannot replicate these search results, but it does seem to be similar to the the results you'd get for live coverage.

Are you able to see this?
