The day before July 4th, Independence Day in the United States, Google has a Doodle that showcases and highlights their recipe search features. The Google Doodle turns into a map, showcases popular dishes by state. As you click on the map, it lets you dig into each state and find a popular dish. When you find the state, you can click to the search results to get the recipe.

Here are some screen shots after you click the play button on the Doodle:

Google wrote "the 4th of July is the USA’s most scrumptious summer celebration: a time when friends and family get together to celebrate the nation’s independence by cooking, boiling, frying, baking, grilling, or blackening their favorite regional dishes."
