google app indexingGoogle announced this morning that native Android Apps that participate in Google's App Indexing now will show data in the Google Search Console (formerly known as Google Webmaster Tools).

So now, you can understand what queries people are searching for and clicking into your app for in the Search Analytics report in Google Search Console. Plus, you can use the Fetch as Google to see how Google sees your content within your App. This is pretty cool!

Mariya Moeva, Webmaster Trends Analyst and Hillel Maoz, Engineering Lead, Search Console Team said:

The new Search Analytics report provides detailed information on top queries, top app pages, and traffic by country. It also has a comprehensive set of filters, allowing you to narrow down to a specific query type or region, or sort by clicks, impressions, CTR, and positions.
