Google Adds One Click Verify For My Business Listings Through Search Console

In April 2014 Google began allowing webmasters to verify their Google My Business listings through the Google Search Console linkage. So if you had a verified web site in the Search Console, then you could verify a Google My Business listing if the web address was the same.

Avinash Murthy noticed and posted on Twitter that the option is now more visible as one of the ways to verify a Google My Business listing directly in the Google Maps results.

You can now click "verify" if the Search Console account is linked up to your account and that business web site URL.
