Daniel Waisberg

Daniel Waisberg, the analytics guru who joined the Google Analytics team in 2013 as the Analytics Advocate at Google is now switching jobs within Google to work with John Mueller and the Google Webmaster Trends team and Search Console team.

He posted the news on Twitter yesterday saying "I'm really excited to announce I'll be joining @JohnMu & @googlewmc teams as a Search Advocate to help webmasters and developers succeed in Search, the web, and beyond! Thank you @googleanalytics for everything, see you around!"

I think he will be working more closely with the Search Console team, at least based on his background in analytics, it would be a really nice fit. He also has been in the SEO and marketing community for ages. So he really gets SEO, the community, the people and what they want. It should be a really good thing for the SEO and developer/webmaster community.

Looking forward to watching every word you say from now on Daniel! :)
