If you try to verify a new site with Bing Webmaster Tools you currently won't be able to see any data for that new site.
A Bing Forum thread has one webmaster complaining. Will from Bing confirmed there is a bug and Bing will work on fixing it but he doesn't know when the issue will be resolved.
I personally was able to replicate the bug and here is a screen shot:
