Yahoo Slow On Sending 1099s to Publishers?

Feb 10, 2009 - 9:40 am 0 by

By now, most Google AdSense publishers should have received their tax form, the 1099, from Google. But if you are a Yahoo Publisher Network publisher, you may not have received it yet. A DigitalPoint Forums thread has some publishers complaining that they have not yet received their 1099.

A 1099 is a tax form that needs to be provided by Yahoo to some of their US publishers. I am pretty sure, I personally did not received a 1099 this year, but I can be the exception. I did not hear of any publishers receiving their 1099s yet.

It may be that some got lost or Yahoo has yet to send them out yet. They still have time and I know I am still receiving tax forms from banks and financial institutions to this date.

Did you get your 1099 from Yahoo?
