The Google + Sofa

Google + Sofa

VP of Google+, Bradley Horowitz posted a picture on Google+ of Senior Vice President, Vic Gundotra sitting on the Google+ couch. The couch is in the Google+ office and has pillows made from Craftsquatch.

The pillows have Google+ recognizable icons and logos. Such as the circles, +1 button, notifications icon and more.

I wish Vic was not sitting on this sofa, but rather getting my Google+ account working seamlessly so I can be more active on Google's social network. I feel like I am in limbo right now on a social network where I should feel part of the community. FYI, I know Vic and his team works like crazy, so I am being a bit selfish by saying this.

This post is part of our daily Search Photo of the Day column, where we find fun and interesting photos related to the search industry and share them with our readers.

That's the notifications icon (you have 9 or more notifications to look at) - the red icon at the top right.

"9+" is what the G+ notification bar (or now just "Google bar") would show when you had more than nine notifications. So my guess is the pillow represents a very busy Google+ user. Although they may have removed the "9+" notification recently. I remember reading something about it.
