Andrew Lipstein snapped a picture with Google's Matt Cutts yesterday the day before at SMX Advanced in Seattle. Matt Cutts decided to wear a t-shirt with a target or bullseye on it.
Andrew posted the picture on Twitter for all to see.
Yea, I am sure he will be a target at this conference, but less so here - I'd think, than a normal SEO conference.
At least Matt has a sense of humor about it. I wonder if he brought one for me as well? :)

Dude ! Way to piss off anyone with a vague knowledge of the British... that my friend, is NOT a TARGET, its the official RAF ROUNDEL http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Air_Force_roundels I suggest you make some hasty corrections before most the Commonweath comes round to kick your ignorant arse and his too, if he doesn't know what he's wearing.

well if it was a Yankee star, you'd get upset too bitch... this is all about cultural senstivity, which you're displaying an abysmal lack of, right now

(1) No I wouldn't. I couldn't care less about stuff like that. (2) Sorry you are offended. (3) I am not wearing the t-shirt, I am just quoting the Tweet and intentions behind the t-shirt. Why are you mad at me for reporting it?

then perhaps you better delete your Canadian mates, your british mates and your aussie mates from your circles/follower list who will look dimly on anyone who is flippant with an important national symbol linked to great sacrifice in WW2... look up 'battle of britain' if you think I'm over-reacting you shouldn't report misrepresentations or repeat ignorance. in a nutshell = your funeral mate

I am truly sorry you are so offended. I had no intention of offending anyone by posting this. I honestly thought people would laugh at it. Again, I apologize to you. It was not intentionally aimed at hurting anyone.

Will do my best but I am sure I will piss people off in the future. It is bound to happen when you post so much. I'll do my best not to do the same thing with this symbol.

Ignore the anonymous patriotic trolls...it looks like Matt responded to the tweet with the belief that he is wearing a target. https://twitter.com/mattcutts/status/209860176411500545
Why ?

Why British are so aggressive ? Especially after couple of pints ?

Well, I'm British and I thought it was funny even though it was the RAF Roundel... @saeble:disqus Chill Out! Life is too short, too full of anger and frustration already and adding to it is not helping to the greater good of mankind...

Whoa. Love that a simple piece about a t shirt on SER has kick started a You tube esque nationalistic scrap in the comments. Clearly Matt is a mod.
