Memorial Day Logos & Ribbons From Google & Bing But Not Yahoo

Today is Memorial Day in the United States and we have logos from Google, Bing, Ask.com, Dogpile and others. But one big 'search' player that is missing a logo is Yahoo. Normally Yahoo does have a special logo for the day but not today, not currently.

You can see Yahoo and the other search engines logos for the past years on Memorial Day for 2010, 2009, 2008, 2007, 2005 and 2004.

Google was actually the one who rarely posted anything for Memorial Day. The first year they did was with a yellow ribbon in 2009 because they do not post logos for sad days.

In any event, here are the logos, themes and ribbons from the search industry.

Google are a bunch of insufferable liberal hipsters, for them America doesn't deserve a "doogle" just a minuscule flag to avoid criticism... If they hate this country so much they should move to Cuba or China. They don't appreciate this country that has made them filthy rich!

No you're wrong, it doesn't matter if they don't have a doodle for memorial day. Google always has something for any event, espicially for Christmas.

Typical California liberal crap from Google. Move to China if you hate the US so much. In fact we should just give that whole damn state to the Chinese and ask for a discount on our debt. The rest of the country doesn't need them.

My friends had a Memorial Day celebration get-together, complete with barbecue, fun and friends, several of which are in the military.  On my way home from this event, I was wondering what America would be like if we were to dive deeply into socialism, as it appears we are heading.  I thought about the level of patriotism we've had in America over the past few decades.  To me, patriotism in America has been empowered by those selfless Americans who laid down their lives so we could appreciate the freedoms we have in this country today. If socialism has it way, patriotism in America won't celebrate the freedoms we have, nor would it choose to memorialize those who died for the freedoms many in the rest of the world despise that we do have. My brain does not comprehend this new "progressive" way of thinking. It does NOT make sense to me.  I must be getting old. God Bless America. Or perhaps, God have mercy on America.

As a Californian...I sadly agree with you. Politicians and Liberals (extreme secularists) have destroyed our state. Really, it's the No Cal people that cause all this BS. Us from down South down really get into that crap they do up there.

Yep...even had one for Easter....http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-yn9PHJLl7Ss/TcjSNhnZvyI/AAAAAAAAADk/tf4gTRMaoPM/s1600/easter.JPG That's a screenshot of my computer on Easter 2011. Even look at the date and time in the bottom corner. Even has the day. Now what do you have to say? They had a doodle for Charlie Chaplin's birthday, Chinese New Year, and more days that most people would scratch their heads to...but this is wrong and so is the Easter one. Shame on Google!
