Earlier this month, Google began offering a power searching class for those who want to learn how to become a better searcher.
Upon completion of the class, Google promised those who participated that they would receive a printable Certificate of Completion sent to their email. The class finished yesterday and eager Google power searchers are patiently awaiting to receive their certificates but nothing came - yet.
There are a few Google threads with complaints from those in the class. Here is a longer Google Web Search Help thread where some of the students are demanding their certificates. One person said:
I have not recieved my certificate for successfully completing the Power Search Class. Has anyone else had a problem or can someone tell me if I need to "Go To" somewhere to get it.
If anyone does get their certificate, please do let me know.

From what i have read at the forum of the Course, the certificates will be send on Wednesday - as the post-class test end period ends that day or the day before. There is no problem - there is just a lack of clear info on Google's behalf :)

I think power searchers need not to be impatient. The course has just ended and it will take some time to compile results, preparing digital certificates and then sending to attendees accordingly.

I took the course. It was definitely tailored more toward amateur/moderate searchers and not more advanced power searchers and people who work in the SEO/web business, but I still managed to learn a thing or two toward the end of it. It did help me rethink how I can more efficiently do complicated searches and find difficult-to-dig-up information from time to time. (I completed it on 6/22 and it's 6/24 now - no certificate yet.)

i took the course and it said i would receive an email with instructions to download certificate. no certificate yet.

I just Got Mine now (its looks so cute) even though am not worried about when the certificate will be out, I knew it before its Google, it will gives you what it promised. I wish the Zero Patience search Guru; happy finding a good job with your Certificate

I got mine about 20 hours ago and emailed it to my boss asking for a pay rise as I'm now even more qualified than I was 21 hours ago. I'm still waiting to hear back from him.
