Google News LogoI reported about two weeks ago about a new Google News home page design named the News Clusters. I asked Google for a screenshot but they refused to send me it, so I asked Twitter if anyone saw anything and people sent me screens. I do not believe those were the proper screens for the Google News "clusters" design.

A Google Blogoscoped Forums thread has one member posting screen shots of a new Google News user interface. I believe this may be the "Clusters" interface Google told us about a couple weeks ago.

Here is one of those screen shots:

You can find more at the Google Blogoscoped Forums.

So what do we see here? Well, just compare it to the current design that I see:

Pretty interesting. Do you like it?

It is interesting to me. There is a focus on images. Pictures rule as they say.

I like it. It looks cleaner, and more like an actual news site as opposed to an aggregator.

Oh I really like it. Looks clean and more organized. It also seems to pack more information into one area without looking too cluttered.
