Google Webmaster Tools Link Not Available For Some

Google Webmaster ToolsThere are several reports in the Google Webmaster Help forums and WebmasterWorld, as well as twitter, email and other reports I've seen, where webmasters are upset that Google Webmaster Tools links is not currently showing data.

I am not sure how wide spread of an issue is this is or how long it will be an issue for those complaining. I personally tested several profiles in my account and I was able to see links. Although, the number of links seemed to have dropped significantly from what I am use to seeing.

No Data Available Google Links

Are you having this issue? Some have reported seeing data come in but older data.

Google has not yet responded to the complaints.

WMT can be flaky at the best of times. For my main site, "Search Appearance/Structured Data" sometimes goes two weeks without being updated. And new links from major sites in the "Latest Links" report are occasionally several years old.

In my experience, I never had much data shown in the first place. When I ran the tools, I expected to see a detailed list of data, showing all my links; listing the toxic and natural links. I don't like using Webmaster tools, as the results aren't detailed enough. I used The Link Auditors for a link audit, and their tools listed all my links, showing exactly which backlinks were harmful or not, even telling me a percentage of how toxic they were. This meant I knew exactly which links were affecting my site, and which links I had to remove. They even have a removal tool; fully automatic, easy to use and extremely effective, much more so than Link Detox, Link Delete and Remove'em.

And we're surprised this new avenue of useful information is being cut off by Google why? Sooner or later, they'll have us all cut out of the loop.

I am not seeing the links today. I was able to see them about a week ago.

What I know is that it takes Google awhile to update information in the Webmaster tools

Yes, we are having same problem for one of our sites. Its been more than TWO months as of Jan 10, 2014. If anyone lost the links (data) this long?

The links data don't update, I removed links from 5 domains one month ago, and 3 domains and links disappear from WMT, but links from the other 2 domains are still there although they were removed. Do you know how often WMT update the data?
