As you may have seen by now, Google Glass Explorers were on The Daily Show, in a segment named Glass Half Empty. In short, it severely mocks Google Glass owners who were physically targeted for wearing Google Glass. It then goes on to mock them, Google Glass and everything about their situation.

I asked one of the Explorers in a Google+ thread if they knew this going into it. Cecilia Abadie said "we did knew we would be mocked." But what she didn't expect was that they use "misinformation" to mock them.
She added:
I personally expected more from them, except that when we were half way there we knew nothing serious or smart would show, that just wasn't their angle.
Personally, I take off Glass when I walk into certain places.

Personally, If I could get one, I'd only take it off where mobile phones e.t.c. where also restricted. There is literally no difference between that and having a mobile phone in your chest pocket, let alone thousands of the perfectly legal spy cameras that look like say a pen.

It would have to be taped to your chest with duct-tape and recording and transmitting images ALL THE TIME to be anything close to glass Either way, I would love to see you walking the streets and bars with your cell duct-taped to your chest. Good way to pick up boys that way Spy cameras = Glass Spy cameras user = Paranoid, sneaky, nerdy, asholes

Whats the actual difference then? The glass will record exactly the same way the camera will. Try an actual argument instead of just an insult next time. It would make you look less like a complete twat.

No, you can record quite happily with it sitting in your pocket, I've produced some decent videos like that for events I'm involved with. I would suggest keeping your duct tape fantasies to yourself however. Glass does transmit image all the time, this shows your lack of knowledge. Even in record mode as far as I'm aware its not transmitting them, just storing them locally exactly like a camera. If someone has Glass on, its blatant. You know you might be filmed, exactly like a video camera. If they have a camera in their pocket or a spy camera, you can film them WITHOUT them knowing.... yet you are calling the Glass worse? Sounds like another case of 'yo momma''s Google envy/butt-soreness. What did Google do to you? Ban your spam site?

What did G$$gle do? G$$gle promoted its huge $250k initial investor AMAZON over and above all other retailers. G$$gle is a terrible company that has destroyed small businesses and promotes big businesses G$$gle helps those that invest in their ADWORDS scam G$$gle is a nasty uncool company G$$gle Glass is now used by Virgin airlines, which has now become uncool too I used to like Amazon, but since I found out about the G$$gle relationship, I will not purchase from them again This is what I have done to help G$$gle

Care you come up with an answer that actually involves common sense? I realise this will be a challenge for you, but please try. Name one way in which Google glass is better for taking secret videos than the hundreds of concealed cameras, including wearable ones which look like pens, hair-pins e.t.c. You can't. Its that simple. You are talking BS because you don't like Google. Every-time you type, you reveal that you don't have a legitimate grievance against Google, you are just butt-hurt over something that was probably your own fault in the first place.

You can continue to wave your G$$gle flag, however, I do have evidence to prove otherwise. And this evidence is enough for my eyes only to keep trucking along in this technical marketing arena. Neither do any of the other concealed cameras. You have failed, yet again. At worst that makes it the same, more likely it still makes it better because you still know there is a camera there even if it isn't recording. With concealed cameras, you don't even know there is a camera there. Also for it to be 'forever pointing in the direction', the user has to sit there staring at them, which is fairly noticeable on it's own. And now adding homophobia? Yeah...... And while yes I do have long hair, I'm not gay. Oh and yes, I've got quite a lot of experience with butt-hurt, after all I've read quite a few of your 'comments'

I would love to cut my daughter's hair and get my son back but it fits his personality. He's a rocker, surfer dude. Ok, what about the creep sitting in his car, filming playgrounds?
