Google announced on Google+ they are expanding their Google Glass Explorer program, the program where people like you and me can potentially get our hands on a Google Glass. There are some conditions.
(1) You need to be in the U.S. (2) You need to pay $1,500 if approved. (3) You must be 18 years old or older. (4) You must follow them on Twitter and Google+. (5) You must come up with a creative idea on how you would use Google Glass. (6) You must submit that idea either via Google+ or Twitter with the hashtag #ifihadglass
There are obviously more terms and you can learn more about this at this page.
Here is a video to wet your appetite:
The deadline to apply is February 27th. Google will then notify those who win via Google+ or Twitter and if you do win, you will have to poney up $1,500 plus pick them up at a special event in New York, San Francisco or Los Angeles.

LOL, these marketing videos are hilarious. Throw in an indie song, make it look like life is amazing, and discard the fact that most people in those situations won't wear one. hahahahahahah... Except for that person who didn't know what a jellyfish was of course.

I think they're missing the mark, personally. Where do you go to get your glasses adjusted? That's right; your eye doctor's office. Include eye care professionals in the dispensary, (such as opticians and optometrists,) and the demand would be a tidal wave.
