Two days ago, I reported on some people reporting seeing foggy or filmy Google results.
I finally have a picture, provided by Noisette, a top contributor in the forums. The issue is, from what I understand, is on slow connections, with Google Instant, Google is slower to show the search result predictions than on a fast connection. This appears to be a slowness impacting the AJAX.
Here is an animated picture of the issue, where you search for something and then a few seconds later the results clear up. To see the animation, click on the image to open in a new window:
I can see how this can be annoying.

yepper been seeing this too for a few weeks off and on - ps I absolutely detest the auto fill - it takes more time and messes with my search query causing me either to have to research for what I wanted or retype it in which it again wants to auto fill and guess what I want - if I go to retype it I can't even read what I type at first as it has their old auto fill layered under my typing - ahhhhhgggg - what a mess - I can also see that they are skewing search return queries to their suggestions and I do not believe that is valid or good for organic search - might make them some more buckos on ad word suggestions though - what do you think?

Wow. I just always assumed that was how it was supposed to work. I've seen this since day one of Instant.

Yeah definitely something to do with Google Instant / auto fill.

Google does crash about 5000% more often since they went with Google Instant. I do like it, but it can be a time waster quite frequently...
