Google Bacon Number Got It Wrong

Google Bacon Number Got It WrongA couple months ago, Google came out with a cute feature where you can search the bacon number game. It works pretty well, well, almost perfectly.

But... I spotted a Google Web Search Help thread of someone noticing an error in Google's math on the bacon number. The case is when you search for [Chris Colfer's Bacon Number] and Google says there are two degrees of separation.

The truth is, there is one degree being that both Kevin Bacon and Chris Colfer were in the same film named 8.

How in the world did Google not get that right? I don't know.

Personally, I have no idea who Chris Colfer is.
