Does Google Update Their AdSense Algorithm?

Google AdSense AlgorithmMost webmasters and SEOs are obsessed with Google web search algorithm updates but very few talk about when Google updates their AdSense algorithms.

A WebmasterWorld thread asks if there is such a thing as an AdSense Algorithm update.

Personally, I think there is. There are algorithms for everything Google does, especially AdSense. There are AdSense algorithms for:

  • Pricing
  • Ad matching
  • Ad formatting
  • Smart pricing
  • Display versus text ad placement
  • Spam fighting
  • and much more...

I am confident Google is routinely updating these algorithms to constantly tweak and improve them.

Sure there is some Adsense algorithm change. Since 2nd February my daily Adsense earning is 25% to 30% less.

Is it possible you're seeing this because of the link disavow update in January, so your traffic is now lower? It's worth checking before jumping to conclusions.
