Ten Google Sitelinks For Domain Searches

Search Google for your domain name, and if that doesn't work try [seroundtable.com] - you should see ten large sitelinks come up under the main site listing:

Ten Google Sitelinks

Searching for the brand name, such as [search engine roundtable] doesn't return ten sitelinks for me. It only returns the ten sitelinks when I do a domain search.

Do you like this? I mean, domain restrictive search is probably a bit more navigational in nature than searching for a brand name.

I am not sure if this is a test or something everyone sees.

I actually like this feature for branded searches. Barry, I also get 10 if I search for searchengineroundtable.com or seroundtable.com, but for the search "search engine roundtable" I only get 6 plus your Google+ plage on the side.

I'm seeing this as well. I have an ecommerce site, and I notice that it's a mix of my main navigation menu (FAQ, About Us, Technical Information) and the most popular products on my site. It makes sense... someone searching your domain name is clearly looking for you, so why not offer them more links to different parts of your site?

that is because your a MORON James and need Google to help you navigate. Its also because you think Google is actually helping you. Another born every day.

No it does not make sense Michael. The Internet is supposed to be about diversity, but if you want to live in a little box, then Google is perfect for you.

It makes sense to me. And I asked 10 other people and they agreed with me.

I think it makes perfect sense. If you are typing a URL into the search bar you're probably on the C squad when it comes to operating a computer and thought it would take you directly to the website. Merlin, I see the point you are trying to make but unfortunately you're crazy.

I'm seeing this effect as well. And keeping things this way is probably a good idea. Before this tweak, didn't you feel there were too many not-so-relevant search results from sites trying to steal searches including a domain name, aiming for this domain name as just another target keyword? I'm talking about those search results presenting the so-called "domain reviews", starting their title tag with a domain name that isn't their own. They even followed with a subdomain name similar to the searched domain, tricking potential users into clicking the result as being related to their target domain. After all, if users type a domain name in the search box, what do they expect to find? Chances are that, 90% of the time, they are exactly looking after results from the legitimate, searched domain. And if not, they just need to scroll down. Making the search results from the target domain stand out even more is still a win-win.

Then you and the 10 other people you asked are all gullible idiots. Congratulations on joining the flock of sheep.

I got 10 and then 6 for your test Barry. Personally I think its wasted space, like their new slider. Lets face it, Google is lack luster. When a little bird goes poop, its a small poop. When big bird Google goes poop, its a doozie

Why i didn't got any site links for http://www.a1brandz.com/. Can any one explain me what are the factors responsible for site links.

It's "you're", not "your". Just wanted to make sure you knew that before calling people names.
