Bob Ross Google Logo - 70th Birthday Doodle

Today would be the 70th birthday of the well-known American TV personality, Bob Ross. He was the man who you saw painting on the television network, PBS all the time.

In The Joy of Painting, Bob Ross taught painting techniques to hundreds of thousands of people across the United States and Canada.

To celebrate his life, Google has a special logo as you can see above. The logo doesn't really look too "Doodle" like, at least, I am having a hard time making out the GOOGLE in the Doodle. I do see a clear "G" stamped on one of his paintings (which might insult some people). Maybe the wood paint board has a GOOGLE like letter pattern on it?

Bob Ross was born on October 29, 1942 in Daytona Beach, Florida. His popular TV show ran from January 11, 1983, to May 17, 1994 and continued on in the form of reruns. He later died at the age of 52 on July 4, 1995 at home after fighting lymphoma.

I personally grew up watching this show, but if you saw how I drew or painted, you would not believe it.
