A few months ago, Google found themselves without a deal with Twitter, leaving them with no choice but to drop their real time search feature.

I guess this is Microsoft's way of saying - hey Google, not only do we have Facebook but we also have something else you do not have, Twitter.

How big a deal is all of this? I think it is. I want Google to bring back Twitter's real time content. Google + is fine but I want Twitter. Facebook, well, that would be huge for Google, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Google messed up here! Twitter real-time search in SERPs was great!
