Mine is working as well as it has since day one. I also have a paid for Google apps account and the email there is great too :)

Everything seems to be fine in IE, although when I use Safari....many Gmail features don't work. Maybe this is related to the latest updates by Gmail??

My primary gmail account has be out of action since Satuarday Afternoon, just get a message saying my account is under maintenance...... Not impress, Beta or not, I've been using it for 3 years and I guess this is the first major problem, but the fact they wont reply to emails is very very very frustrating!

Gmail is not allowing embedded photos and graphics to be forwarded with your email. I am changing my account to hotmail or something else.

Gmail has been great so far...except for the last two days. It has been taking 8 - 10 hours for emails to arrive in the Gmail account (not good...) and forwards from other email accounts are a thing of the past. What's up? Can't figure out how to contact anyone there about these issues. Anyone out there having the same problem receiving email, or know if Gmail has particular problems with Firefox?

gmail is openning thru search engine , not directly. why it is so.

I cannot get my gemail, it shows up in a very small box in the upper left of screen, I can do NOTHING with it.

I am going to just quit google althoughther if this does not get fixed soon - this has been going on off and on for over a solid MONTH!!!!
I even shut down Norton to see if that helped, NTHING helps.

I'm using IE and I cannot even get the browser to load the gmail homepage! Initially it was having major issues logging me out - not letting me, just refreshing when I clicked log out. Now I can't even get to the first page!

I just tried making a new account. Well... it APPEARS to "work", but... *NO*. Anything I attempt to send labels me as spam, and there is no recourse (as re-inforced above by Google rep Jason Friedfolds or what not).

I can't imagine a bigger waste of my time as of late... I'll just pick up the phone and CALL my contacts I guess, lol

My gmail account does not work. I can't get in to my inbox. I write the username and password, loading occurs, but then appears an error message that says it failed to open the page. I have tried whateer measure thet Google support had, but nothing works. he web browser works, the pc installations are normal, I can enter the gmail on pc's in the same network. I have always been able to log in on this computer. What's matter? Help me! I'm desperate for my emails. I need them! Now!

google did it again to a bunch of the users. Randomly disabling accounts you send the form in and never hear anything. But still disabled. I had all my eggs in one basket and now lost all my emails and archives.

What can i do? google server close my mail?

All of my emails disappeared on August 1st 2008 and gmail is totally unwilling to do anything about it. I strongly suggest that people do not rely on gmail as their main back-up as I did. They are not reliable.

it had happenned many times, and on 5 Dec it got worst. i log in to my gmail account, and once i click on the mail i wish to read, the gmail went crazy, real crazy..it openned up new window one after another endlessly until my PC hang totally... not able to handle the flooded window of gmail windows... i think gmail is totally out of control...one time, two time, for the past 3 months...it caused my pc to hang many times... no chance for me to use such crazy email account!

I have had problems logging into my g-mail account now for a week. Some days logging in is a breeze, but after a few e-mails the system freezes up and give me an ‘Oops, connection to the server was lost’, and from there on cannot get logged in again. This is not a joke as for some of us, we use Gmail for business and cannot afford to have a system breaking down or freezing up like this. Google is a massive organization and should have people on the ground that can perform maintenance and problem solving without shutting the system down, what a world we live in, and I thought Zimbabwe was bad..

I've switched some of my Gmail accounts to HTML because the loading freezes just before completing. This has only been a problem during the last 24 hours.
Gmail is better than Yahoo - when it's working. But there seems to be problems of one sort or another regularly during the last six months. Fix the mail before you reach for the cloud...
