MSN adCenter is having signup period today, starting at 12 (EST) or 9am (PST). Before you sign up, or after you sign up, you may want to know what to expect from the program. Werty, a moderator at WebmasterWorld, started a thread just for that, named MSN AdCenter Primer for New Users. He lists off many tips and concepts you should be aware of, including what to expect, how adCenter differs from AdWords, known issues and much more.

I discovered this morning that it can be very hard to use the new MSN adCenter if you are a Mac user. The adCenter is not compatible with Safari or Firefox...only IE 6 or above. Microsoft stopped offering IE 6 for Mac on January 31st of this year; they offer Safari as an alternative. Again, the new adCenter is incompatible with Safari. I hate Virtua PC almost as much as I hate IE...Will I be forced to buy a PC just to run MSN PPC campaigns?

Heh...yeah I just had the worst time trying to signup, and finally gave up. It wouldn't work with any of the 3 browsers I have installed (FF, IE7, Opera). I downloaded IE6 but still couldn't get in for some flashing box on the signup form. I wanted to spend my money with you, MS, but you gotta help me out.
