Here is a photo of a Google Fiber installer in the yellow vest and hard hat. The photo is from Bob Morris, who posted the image on Twitter. His company is based in Atlanta and is getting Google Fiber installed there. Lucky folks!
Google Fiber speeds can go up to 1,000 Mbps - in my office, I have 101 Mbps and that seems fast. I can personally get 500Mbps with Verizon FiOS as well, but I cannot get 1,000 Mbps.
