Google's Ilya Grigorik, a site speed and SSL expert, posted a picture on Google+ of the only real way to drive a Google Self Driving Car. The picture shows a van towing (driving) a self driving car to it's destination.
I guess this is before the car was outfitted with self-driving technology, otherwise it could have driven itself?
