Google has begun rolling out a new design for their hotel results local pack in web search. So if you search Google for hotels near X, Google will show you a new look for hotel results in that area, one that looks more like the hotel search results portal.
Sergey Alakov notified me of this on Twitter and he also posted about it on his site. I can see it myself, here is a screen shot that you can click on to enlarge:
Previously it looked more like a typical local pack with some more filters:
I believe Google began testing this interface in June 2018 and now it seems to be rolling out.
