Google Ads is showing under the status of your ads a label that says "Under Re-Review." It says the ad is eligible but limited and "this ad is serving to a limited audience." It then breaks down where the ad may not be serving.
This was spotted by Anthony Higman who posted the screenshot below on LinkedIn and wrote, "New One For Me! Under "Re-Review"?"
Here is the screenshot:
I know the terminology "Re-review" is not new to Google Ads, just do a Google Search for it. I mean, I covered it over five years ago related to a Google Ads ad status. But the screenshot then of the ad status did not explicitly read "Under Re-Review." Also, Google's ads policies specifically mention re-review - it says:
Google reserves the right to prioritize ad reviews or re-reviews to ensure the overall stability of system operations, or temporarily restrict ad serving to ensure policy compliance.
Here is that screenshot from the ad status from five years ago, it does say "re-review" in the description but not directly in the status?
Is this new?
