In mid-February we reported a way to get Google Maps replacement decals in case you lost or received a damaged decal. This was a popular request, since many were upset that either the decal did not work or that it was lost or damaged in the mail.
In short, the way to request a new decal was to use this form. And many did use that form but no one has yet to receive a replacement decal from Google.
Today, I spotted an update to the Google Maps Help thread where Google Maps Guide, Cecelia, said that they have not yet been processed. Cecelia said:
I've checked with the teams on this. We're working on a timeline for this. It's likely that we'll follow up offline with all users who submitted the form.
I decided to personally fill out the form, so I can see when these are mailed out. I will keep you all posted.
