Here is a recap of what happened in the search forums today, through the eyes of the Search Engine Roundtable and other search forums on the web.

  • Google Webmaster Hangout Today at 4pm EDT/1pm PDT
Google has been holding frequent webmaster chats using Google Hangout. It seems they do a few each week. Those on in the states - Google is hosting one day at 4pm EDT / 1pm PDT on Google +. John Mueller posted the details on his Google + profile...
  • Google Thumbnail Interface Changes For Videos & News Results
Ruben spotted even more Google tests in the search results. He posted images of these new sets of tests in the Google Blogoscoped Forums. Here you have Google testing the positioning of the thumbnail image for both video and news results...
  • Google Bike Riding
Here is a picture I found on Flickr recently from Tiger Shanghai of someone riding on a Google Bike. I've seen the bike before but not in action.
