At the Google I/O event yesterday, Danny Sullivan captured a preview of the Google +1 Button.
He wrote about it and posted several screen shots at Search Engine Land.
In short, he showed the implementation screens for publishers to generate the button and pick the button layout and size. He also showed several screen shots of how the +1 button is directly integrated into Google Analytics - which is the cool part.
Here are two of the many screen shots Danny shared - to see them all, go to Search Engine Land.

I can't wait until Google rolls this out so I can add the button to my website

Google needs to add this for Facebook Likes and Tweets for this to be useful.

I dont think it will be integrated within Google Analytics, for now.

Half arsed concept to start with - and half arsed implementation. Google is not a social network, period. No matter how much they try to be one.

They've never made a secret of wanting to go social but this is more about using social metrics to assist in ranking websites...
