Google has made some big changes to the Google Maps for Android app.
The changes include:
- New homescreen design for Google Maps Navigation (Beta)
- Improved map rendering quality for ICS devices
- Options to get transit directions for preferred transit mode

Google maps is the biggest service from Google. Above changes will make it more accurate and user will be familiar with it. Thanks for the nice update.
