Google has replaced the Google AdSense "i" button on the AdSense ads with "Ad Choices." We knew this was coming and now it has happened.
When I go to a page with an AdSense ad, it loads the ad and shows AdChoices in the top right.

Then it removes the word AdChoices and shows just the logo.

You can see the word again by hovering your mouse cursor over the ad or logo.
Clicking on the AdChoices logo takes you to the What are Ads by Google? and then lets you report an issue at the bottom of the page.
So do not be surprised when you see the "i" replaced by "AdChoices" - it was expected.

This is really nice .. Google removes Google identity from their ads, at least in text :)

So what if another ad network i'm using is displaying adchoice ads? Does that mean they are serving me google ads sometimes or are other companies adopting the standard

Truly disappointing. I thought this was a new contextual service, but if Google is hiding its own logo means they are losing trustworthy and is not strange. They are actually preventing access to many Adsense account stating that they have detected "unusual activity" not in Adsense perfromance but in the Gmail account that they forced you to use, when the only "unusual" is Google activity itself.

It would be interesting to know how they A/B tested this one. Seems intrusive but it certainly drives traffic to AdWords signup, meaning more advertisers / more bidders / more $ for us.

A search of Adchoices brings up Microsoft. Google and Microsoft working together for advertising? Scary

My site has soared in popularity recently and as a result I have all these Ad Choices Ads: M & M's, Domino's Pizza, Old Navy etc. How do I get paid when they put ads on my site?

They shouldn't have a right to put ads on your site without asking you. Are you using a free website hosting service? If you want ads on your site, you should go to Google AdSense's page and register. Or you can get another popular ad site. My blog is at http://theorangetie.com

control spam? I think they ad to it by advertising dangerous sites. Oh, now I get it, they control one source for it, lol.
