WebmasterWorld members have reported that there are problems with the Yahoo Site Explorer API. The problem seems to be either that the service is unavailable or that Yahoo only provides the first 50 results and nothing further.

There's no word from Yahoo about this issue, but the problem is confirmed by at least two individuals in the WebmasterWorld thread, where the discussion continues.

I've noticed a considerably decrease in the amount of links Yahoo displays. Hopefully this is only a temporary issue.

They have shut it down? At least it was scheduled to be shut down on th 15th of September 2011. "The APIs were scheduled to be shut down on March 2011, but the timeframe for this shut down has been extended for the YDN Site Explorer API's until September 15, 2011." http://developer.yahoo.com/search/siteexplorer/
