  • Speakable Markup For Publishers Not Supported On Google Home Hub
    Google released their Google Home Hub, the one with the display, and after playing with it for a week, I discovered that currently, the speakable markup created for Google Assistant and Google Home is not supported on the Google Home Hub model. Instead, Google tries to send you to YouTube videos for news content on the Hub.
  • Google Cache Showing Mobile Version Of Site For Some
    Google may be updating the cache version of the sites that have been moved over the mobile-first indexing to show the mobile version of the web site. As you know, Google fixed the long standing cache bug for sites that are now on mobile-first indexing. Glenn Gabe spotted Overstock's web site showing the mobile version in the cache now.
  • Google News Update Coming To Help Publishers Can't Find Their Articles
    Earlier this week, we reported about a number of complaints from Google News Publishers where they said it is hard for their content to be found in Google News. Google posted in the Google News Help yesterday that they plan on releasing an update to help resolve some of the issues.
  • Bing Ads Feature For Recurring Insertion Orders
    Bing Ads announced a new feature that allows you to set up recurring insertion orders. That should help agencies and advertisers not forget to manually create IOs for their ad campaigns.
  • Day of the Dead Google Logo 2018
    Today is the annual Day of the Dead holiday celebrated by people of Mexican heritage. It is a bunch of days where families remember those who have passed away. So Google posted a Google Doodle with candles, skulls and Googley colors to commemorate the day.
