  • Google Crawls Pages More Often If They Are More Important & Popular
Google's John Mueller confirmed that Google crawls pages more often if they are more important and popular. So if a page is not crawled so often, that can be a sign that the page is not that important to Google.
  • Did The Google Medic Update Make Search Worse? Show Google Examples.
Google is asking you to provide examples of how the search results are now worse off since after the Google Medic update which was released on August 1st as a core broad Google algorithm update. • Google Launches Expandable Featured Snippets
Google announced they have launched a new form of featured snippets that offer expandable snippets to help a searcher dive deeper into the aspects of a specific query. We actually saw Google testing this this past April and now it is officially live.

  • YouTube Live Streaming Disabled For Many
I am seeing a huge number of YouTube creators complaining in the YouTube Help forums that their ability to live stream on the platform has been disabled. Google has confirmed there is an issue they are looking into fixing so they restore access to live streaming.
  • The Google Beach Party
Here is a video from the Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity that shows Google had another beach party this past year. I remember they did one back in 2012, maybe they do one every year
