Microsoft Bing Offers IndexNow Support To The Internet Archive

The folks at the Internet Archive are having issues with archiving the web. Something it has done since 1996 and is such a foundational website that it is sad to see. That being said, Fabrice Canel from Microsoft Bing wants to help.

Fabrice Canel offered help setting up and adopting IndexNow, to help with some of the inefficiencies with crawling.

Canel wrote on X, "I fully support your noble mission to backup the web. You are essential for preserving our digital history. Happy to have helped you adopt IndexNow as a search engine to backup fresh content on websites much easier; advancing your mission."
