Google is sending out a new form of notifications via Google Webmaster Tools, one you may get after you verify a new web site in Google Webmaster Tools for the first time.
The new message has the subject, "improve the search presence of" your web site domain name and then lists out five steps you can take to do so. Those steps include:
(1) Add all your website versions to Google Webmaster Tools
(2) Select your preferred version (i.e. www or non www)
(3) Select target country
(4) Share access with co-workers
(5) Submit a sitemap file
