Google Star Wars

Everyone in our community is talking about how Google Search Console is doing a special theme within the toolset for Stars Wars Day, which is on May 4th (May the Force/Fourth be with you). If you toggle it on at the top right of the page you will find tons of easter eggs within the tool with references to Star Wars.

So login to Google Search Console and give it a spin. This is what we found so far...

The toggle switch at the top right to turn on Star Wars mode:

Gsc Star Wars Toggle

The welcome message:

Gsc Star Wars

Here is the text:

Celebrate your Star Wars fandom with us today, May the 4th, the official Star Wars holiday!

Join the resistance against the Empire, or maybe just keep a lookout for Star Wars references.

You can join or leave this universe by clicking the button at the top of the screen.

May the 4th be with you!

Now if you click okay, it is active and you can find the easter eggs.

Easiest to spot are the light sabers in different colors, they wiggle and make the sound when you click the different charts:

Gsc Light Saber Red

Gsc Light Saber Gray

Gsc Light Saber Yellow

Gsc Light Saber Green

There is a data filter in the search performance report for galaxy:

Gsc Galaxy Filter

Gsc Galaxy Filter2

Oh, it really isn't supported:

Gsc Unsupported Galaxy

The fetch features really get into it:

Gsc Retrieving Data

Specific errors show Jar-Jar:

Jar Jar Gsc F

And then we got our Jedi helping us through the way with tooltips:

Gsc Help

What did I miss?

Forum discussion - well, all over Twitter.
