Earlier this week, we reported that the Google index status report was broken and not updating for many in the Google Search Console set of tools. Supposedly it was an issue for weeks before I even reported it.

But now, Google's John Mueller said in a Google Hangout on Google+ at the 42:42 mark into the video that the report is now fixed and catching up with the processing of the data.

I checked my own report and it does seem to now show an increase in the pages indexed on this site. So I guess it has been fixed.

John said:

The index status report has been stuck for a while, I think it is now getting data again. So that is something that should be catching up again.
