Many local experts took notice that Google has drastically cut back on the hours they offer phone support to businesses for managing their Google My Business (formerly Google Places) local listing in Google Maps.
If you go to the Google Business support contact us form, you will see they only offer support hours between 7 AM - 12 PM PDT, whereas it use to be almost all day.

A few hours later Jade from Google emailed to say the hours had been expanded back to normal.But they are still a few hours short of what they used to be.
Current support hours are now 6 AM - 5 PM PST. (Previously was 1 AM - 5 PM)
