A few weeks ago we reported that Google was showing many shopping images in the mobile web results. I personally was able to see them, but it is not just shopping, it is showing up in more and more of the mobile web results.
Kyle Reddoch posted a screen shot on Twitter of Google showing in their mobile web results images for queries like [soil cement stabilization]. Of course the first one is a YouTube video thumbnail but after that, he sees two images for the web results.
Well, the second one is a PDF document that Google is pulling the image from. Here is his screen shot:
I personally see the first web image but not the image from the PDF:
